@staletic would you like to become a maintainer of this package? I don't use it anymore since i found libudev-zero to be working with xorg w/o any changes. The same is true for cups btw

With version 1.20.11 (note the patch version bump) and the configuration below, I'm able to start X11 without the Xwrapper and the /usr/lib/Xorg is actually running as my user, not root.

  arch-meson ${pkgbase}-$pkgver build \
    -D os_vendor="Artix Linux" \
    -D ipv6=true \
    -D xvfb=true \
    -D xnest=true \
    -D xcsecurity=true \
    -D xorg=true \
    -D xephyr=true \
    -D xwayland=true \
    -D xwayland_eglstream=true \
    -D glamor=true \
    -D udev=false \
    -D config_udev=false \
    -D systemd_logind=false \
    -D elogind=false \
    -D suid_wrapper=true \
    -D xkb_dir=/usr/share/X11/xkb \
    -D xkb_output_dir=/var/lib/xkb

That is just slightly modified Arch's xorg-server PKGBUILD.
