new Xorg with new ABI version is conflicting xrdpdev: module ABI major version (24) doesn't match the server's version (25)

This should conflict/provide the xorgxrdp package

In addition, this package should target the git sources - not the release

I can't find a significant difference between this package and xorgxrdp. xorgxrdp-git isn't a real git package, it uses the same source as xorgxrdp.

Thanks for taking care of this package!

One question: If this package grabs and installs a fixed (release) version of a package, even if this happens on git, is it really a -git package, if it doesn't grab the latest commit from git?

EDIT: Never mind, I should have read the comments first!

@Aelius : From the the first version I've packaged, each time the release method has changed... Need to use the master and after develop but master was the release and now master is not sync... I've maked the last version based on the release file. Now, I will wait the next release to adjust the code.

This isn't a git package in the ways that matter. 1) It doesn't have a pkgver() function; users cannot easily follow the commits 2) It uses the master branch, which is equivalent to release (for this package). You want to check out the devel branch. Please adjust accordingly. Use this pkgbuild as a reference https://aur.archlinux.org/cgit/aur.git/tree/PKGBUILD?h=xrdp-devel-git

@dszryan : And don't mess to add allowed_users=anybody to /etc/X11/Xwrapper.config (you need to create the file) to allow anybody to start X

@dszryan : For xorgxrdp, we don't use Xvnc but Xorg. It's a good alternative to X11rdp. In /etc/xrdp/sesman.ini and /etc/xrdp/xrdp.ini, the config section is [Xorg] and I use the default config provided by xrdp. But for work, you only need to edit /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc (for all user) or ~/.xinit.rc (for a specific user) to launch the good DE. As exemple, I have edited the end of my /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc (comment or delete the default cmd twm, xclock and xterm and add your DE start cmd) : #twm & #xclock -geometry 50x50-1+1 & #xterm -geometry 80x50+494+51 & #xterm -geometry 80x20+494-0 & #exec xterm -geometry 80x66+0+0 -name login exec dbus-run-session -- startkde With this, I can use Plasma5 with RDP and it work better for me than X11rdp.

i had to make the following edit to get the terminal server to work under the 'sesman-any' config. /etc/xrdp/sesman.ini [Xvnc] param=Xvnc param=-bs param=-nolisten param=tcp ;param=-localhost param=-dpi param=96 /etc/xrdp/xrdp.ini [sesman-any] name=sesman-any lib=libvnc.so ip=127.0.0.1 port=-1 username=ask password=ask #delay_ms=2000 should have the package updated as well?
