alsa-utils, curl and vlc are no longer required as dependencies, as recording is now directly handled by using portaudio

Fixed, empty bash function, I sometimes forget that this is not allowed.

Got this on the run of the install script:

(1/1) upgrading xournalpp-git

[----------------------------------] 100%

/tmp/alpm_Bbr6Cw/.INSTALL: line 2: syntax error near unexpected token `}'

/tmp/alpm_Bbr6Cw/.INSTALL: line 2: `}'

/usr/bin/bash: post_upgrade: command not found

error: command failed to execute correctly

Thanks for your improvements! Addionally I added lua to the dependencies to support the new plugin feature.

namcap on the final package shows some information, two of which I consider you need to take care about:

xournalpp-git W: .INSTALL file runs a command provided by hooks.
xournalpp-git E: GPL-2.0 is not a common license (it's not in /usr/share/licenses/common/)
  • The license should be named GPL2 and not GPL-2.0,
  • the post_install()-commands you should find out which of them are doubled.

Can you move the line

cmake -DENABLE_TEX="ON" -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX="/usr/" -DDEV_CONFIG_DIR="$configdir/xournalpp" ..

from prepare() to build()? It belongs to build. Someone editing the PKGBUILD and then rebuilding with makepkg -e expects the edited cmake-options to be applied.

Also, cmake spills out with the given options:

CMake Warning:
Manually-specified variables were not used by the project:

Besides that, thanks for the package recipe!

@macxcool: Already did that. Thanks anyway!

Put in a bug report on the Xournal++ github site (list above). This isn't a problem with the PKGBUILD. Xournal and Xournal++ don't use the same code, so they'll have different bugs and features.

Everything works, but it crashes every time. I think it happens when I use the touch resize function. No problems with the original Xournal.

(xournalpp:12206): Gdk-CRITICAL **: 09:30:39.678: gdk_device_get_state: assertion 'gdk_device_get_device_type (device) != GDK_DEVICE_TYPE_SLAVE || gdk_display_device_is_grabbed (gdk_device_get_display (device), device)' failed

Good point. Pacman now gives a warning on upgrade if the old config path exists, but doesn't modify/move the folder.
