xone maintainer here. Yes, this last one is what we now recommend and it has been set up with a scheduled github action that automatically rebases it on the xpad master. Automatically maintained!

On one hand, yes Medusalix hasn't updated the original repository in a year, and maybe it'd be good to get it updated. But on the other, I don't want to switch to an unknown fork that may or may not be maintained going forward simply because it has a newer version. Especially in a
-gitpackage where any new commits afterward would automatically get picked up.Looking at Jan's github history I'm not all too worried about whether or not the fork is trustworthy, but without a commitment of maintaining it going forward I'd rather leave this pointing at the original repository in the hope that Medusalix does eventually get around to updating it.
