For those stumbling upon the wand/MagickWand.h not found error, install the libmagick6 package, and replace MagickWand by MagickWand-6.Q16HDRI in LIBS and CFLAGS in the Makefile.

PiousMinion, I recently got the issue you mention about freezing the entire desktop. Did you ever figure out why that happened? Worked fine up until yesterday.
