Thanks for your reply.
Managed to find some unwanted webkit debris lying around, and after issuing:
# pacman -R remarkable webkitgtk wkhtmltopdf webkitgtk2
I found that yad now builds normally.

@ninian: Sorry, I can't reproduce your problem. Seems there is some problem with the libwebkitgtk, because I've spottet your error messages on other packages as well (mu4e for example).

BUILD is failing for me on fully updated 64-bit system:

@darkxdroid that's the source code. The package name will end with `.pkg.tar.xz` (assuming you've built it).

darkxdroid commented on 2017-06-21 02:20

I'm getting error: './yad-0.39.0.tar.xz': invalid or corrupted package

sudo pacman -U yad-0.39.0.tar.xz

Sure. Bump version to 0.38.2

ivoshm commented on 2017-01-31 01:14

Thanks for rapid update ... and kindly ask for one more - yad's upstream is updated to 0.38.2.

aaronfischer commented on 2017-01-30 20:59

Thank you @ivoshm, I've changed the dependency to webkit2gtk.

ivoshm commented on 2017-01-30 20:39

Security warning on dependency "webkitgtk":
WARNING: WebKitGTK+ 2.4 is known to have many security vulnerabilities that will NOT be fixed. Avoid browsing with it.

I tried change dependency "webkitgtk" for "webkit2gtk" and yad --html worked. Maybe this is the way ...

You need to install the base-devel package group. All PKGBUILDs assume these packages are installed.
