Thanks stativ. Seen that... the fact was I tried your PKGBUILD first and of course the exporter didn't work. Then I tried doing it the jean_no way since jean_no managed to get it to work, I think, base on the screenshot... Well, I guess we just need to keep on testing it till it works... :)

OK.. I manually extracted the installation package and copied the folder yafaray to: Test 1: the addons folder in the blender config in my home folder Test 2: the addons folder in the blender folder /usr/share/ By doing either one, I managed to get an option for Yafaray in User Preferences/Addons BUT I cannot enable it! No matter what I do... clicking the checkbox did nothing... the checkbox just refuse to get ticked :( Any help is appreciated..

Hi jean_no, I tried your PKGBUILD and successfully make and installed the resulting package using pacman -U. But still I don't see Yafaray in Blender under the Render menu. Where do I look for it? Or am I doing it wrong... I am using Blender 2.60a from official Arch repo. Thanks for your help.

jean_no: Thank you for sharing your PKGBUILD. I'd like to keep yafaray in /usr/{bin,lib} though. Right now I'm investigating how to make it work.

NOTE: the blender exporter doesn't work. If someone knows ho to fix it, please let me know.
