Seems like video playing is impaired again since 18.3.1.1122_1-2 update on April 20. Youtube is glitchy and Liveleak doesn't play at all.

Updated to yandex-browser-beta-18.1.1.952_1.deb, and removed yandex-browser-codecs-ffmpeg-extra-bin. Everything working great, including all video streaming. Thanks for all the work, MasterSoft24, et. al.

Yes, it solved the problem with browser. Now everything works fine! So here is a solution:
pacman -Rdd yandex-browser-codecs-ffmpeg-extra-bin

Yandex techsupport told me to remove ffmpeg package. pacman -Rdd yandex-browser-codecs-ffmpeg-extra-bin
@MasterSOFT24, can you please remove it from yandex-browser dependency? Thanks.
linuxista commented on 2018-02-23 19:31
Thanks, PocketSam. I'll just leave everything installed for now and hope this all gets fixed next time around. Interestingly, Yandex-broswer-beta on Fedora has been stable this whole time, so it doesn't seem to be a question of upstream bugs. Not sure what's going on. Yandex-browser-beta from AUR was really solid all the way up to these last two updates.

@linuxista you can remove yandex-browser-codecs-ffmpeg-extra-bin with: pacman -Rc yandex-browser-codecs-ffmpeg-extra-bin
But it will remove Yandex Browser also. And you won't be able to reinstall it as yandex-browser-codecs-ffmpeg-extra-bin is a dependency for yandex-browser-beta but it's package fails to build for now.
Yes, maybe extra-codecs could be helpful but it doesn't build. I'm writing to maintainer about this. Wait for new version while.
