Please add jbig2dec to the dependencies

The missing dependency on libmupdf was noted 4 months ago. Can you please update this package? If you don't want to maintain it or want help fell free to add me as a maintainer.

Missing dependency: community/libmupdf

aminb commented on 2016-04-27 16:14

The package doesn't build anymore with mupdf >= 1.9, due to some api changes.

Please either update upstream or add a patch file like zathura-pdf-mupdf in the 'community' repo does:
https://projects.archlinux.org/svntogit/community.git/tree/trunk/mupdf-1.9.patch?h=packages/zathura-pdf-mupdf

Comma in the depends line is illegal. (Also, the ">=1.4" makes it annoying to build with mupdf-git. Not an error ofc.)

ale1ster commented on 2014-04-19 12:18

With mupdf version 1.4-2, it doesn't build anymore, breaking with the following error:

/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lmupdf-js-none
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
Makefile:50: revipe for target pdf.so failed

With a 'pacman -Ql mupdf' it seems to be due to the fact that mupdf's js library in this version is "mujs.a".
So substituting "mupdf-js-none" for "mujs" in config.mk builds successfully.

Currently missing 'openjpeg2' as dependency.

After the mupdf 1.1 release this plugin doesn't build.

Yup, still not building.
A bunch of errors from pdf.c "error: unknown type name" and fitz.h

Reproduction is quite easy; git clone and make.

What about this plugin? It doesn't compile anymore. At least for me.

You can install in 2 steps.

1. Install zathura and mupdf from Community.
2. Take this PKGBUILD and replace the dependency on zathura-girara-git with zathura, then run makepkg.

you're kiddin', aren't you archers?
so today want I open a pdf and found that zathura knows not what a pdf is anymore though it's marketed as 'pdf viewer'
informs me about separet plugins for pdf, ps, djvu etcaetera
ok so I come here to get this and build myself a plugin for pdf
once I start I find that to build this I have to have 'zathura-girara-git' ;)
no prob I will build that first but when start to build that I find that I have to build 'girara-gtk2-git'
...
this is the moment that I remember I am into building business and something better to do wiht my time
have a good day
any idea on having also a downvoting on packages here?
I am aware of the hard work put into these

Won't compile with mupdf-git (even after edited to follow community's PKGBUILD), apparently — I get some two dozen "too few arguments" and "not declared" errors.

Also weird: Both -git and [community] won't copy memento.h to /usr/include for me.

svanheulen commented on 2012-01-15 23:43

I get the same error. It's because mupdf in [community] isn't compiled with the -fPIC cflag. I recompiled mupdf and then this compiles fine.

This won't build anymore because mupdf ships without shared libs:
