I use this instead of thinkfan to reduce fan reactivness to temperature change as much as possible. It works wonderfully well and keeps my ThinkPad nice and quiet.

Nice little program that does the thing and nothing more. I noticed there is a systemd unit file on the upstream GitHub page, but not one for OpenRC. I wrote one and put it on the AUR too.

Wonderful little package that makes my headache of fans on a T420 much better. Added to the page on T420!
