The releases on the AUR are done automatically every hour. The issue is that sometimes the zen team does a release, then the script runs and updates the AUR package. And then they undo/remove the release. If this happens again simply wait another hour and the script will automatically update the AUR repo with the newest published version.

tianyu: agreed, also needed for kioexec (so clicking on links in Qt apps will open in zen)

The exec line in /usr/share/applications/zen-browser.desktop should look like

Exec=/opt/zen-browser-bin/zen-bin %U

That way we can open applications using xdg-open

xdg-open https://www.archlinux.org

The desktop entry needs a "%U" at the end of the exec line to open links outside the browser. This issue is related but seems to be resolved: https://github.com/zen-browser/desktop/issues/161

For the icon to work in some cases it also needs "StartupWMClass=zen-alpha". It doesn't seem to use the file on GitHub from the same release. Once I installed the Flatpak it also uses it's patterned icon for the AUR package.

The tag has been removed, once again. They made a release, when I pushed it since it run through my pkgctl check automatically, and also tested the version on my machine.

Why did you "release" a.16? It's not even out yet.
