Unable to update if the GitHub doesn't have the release. Please check the releases page on GitHub instead of the change log on the zen website before flagging the package. Thank you

There is a flaw in oppening link, when I want it to open always in new tab, it always opens in new window. Even after modifying .desktop file to Exec=/opt/zen-browser-bin/zen-bin --new-tab %u it always opens new window with 2 tabs: 1. is file:///home/rav/%u 2. is proper link content. How to fix? Upstream or Arch thing? I'm on XFCE.

Great idea with a browser, but devs are not very open minded if we talk about freedom of choice. Check that: https://docs.zen-browser.app/faq and that: https://github.com/zen-browser/desktop/discussions/2177 and possibly support me in the poll.

Very great, the browser is still improving; I’m using it as my main one. It's a great competitor to the Arc browser.

Don't forget to check out zen-browser-avx2-bin if your CPU supports avx2 for better performance!

Glad to hear its working lol. Unsure why it was delayed, may have been due to the switch from zen-browser.desktop to zen-alpha.desktop

No desktop icon for GNOME.

Update: The icon just appeared, I don't know why it was delayed.

BTW, big thanks to the contributors of this package.

It might be worth updating the description to explain the difference between this package and zen-browser-bin. From what I've deduced, this is the package known as specific and the zen-browser-bin is the generic package. Furthermore the reason you'd use this package instead of the other, is that your CPU architecture is one in this list:

https://docs.zen-browser.app/guides/generic-optimized

Don't use it if your CPU is not in this list.

The desktop file is now in sync with upstream. Its also been renamed to fixed some problems with Wayland Icon issues.

Changing the .desktop file to the following contents and renaming it from zen-browser.desktop to zen-alpha.desktop fixes the icon not working (showing wayland icon in KDE overview for example), as well as matches upstream's desktop file:
