The packages have been split based on toolchains; currently, the build depends on all of these split packages.

zephyr-sdk-bin contains toolchains for all architectures.

zephyr-sdk-gnu-bin contains all GNU toolchains.

zephyr-sdk-llvm-bin contains the LLVM toolchain.

zephyr-sdk-gnu-{target}-bin contains the toolchain for the {target} architecture.

Older versions—specifically those prior to 1.0.1-2—may not be directly upgradable via yay due to strict dependency constraints. In such cases, you should first manually uninstall the old version and then install the new one. Subsequent versions have adjusted dependency relationships and can be upgraded directly.
