Scimmia thanks for the info didn't know that it had changed. Now it makes more sense. Again I don't really do "the update" it is automates so I didn't have to think about it.

Thanks again for reaching out. Btw should I not just go ahead and delete the packages, now?

And yet, 8 days before you uploaded this, the zfs-dkms-git package was changed to 'any' architecture. The current delete request is from a TU, it WILL get deleted.

All of your other -any packages will get deleted, too, as they're either duplicate or aren't actually 'any' packages.

Scimmia why is the package going to be deleted? I have only seen a request to get it deleted by ericek111, not that it was confirmed. I am also a little unsure there the problem lies, made my packages to be able to build ZFS on most architecture because the maintainer of the original packages wasn't interesting in adding more architecture options.

I feel, I have shown that I respond and got nothing back but a delete request, which I don't find quite fair, I am up for changing if there is something I am doing wrong, but so far, I don't see the problem

You're still updating this package even though it's going to be deleted? You really need to shut down your automated updater or you're going to piss off the mods (TUs).

Hey ericek111 Thanks for reaching out, unfortunately this repo is auto-generated based on zfs-dkms-git because I need a version of the package there allowed me to try to build on ARM and from what I could read in the comment of zfs-dkms-git, that was not something the maintainer was interested in added/allowing. So, if this is also a problem in zfs-dkms-git it will appear here 1 day after upstream adds/fixes it.

Here is my little generator for and a few other packages, if it has any interests https://gitlab.com/dvaerum/aur-packages

Installation fails with: /home/erik/.cache/yay/zfs-dkms-git-any/PKGBUILD: line 54: ./scripts/make_gitrev.sh: No such file or directory

Looks like this script was moved directly to Makefile: https://github.com/openzfs/zfs/commit/109d2c93102049e7d7fdd5de7f9edff717224b32#diff-d6c5855a62cf32a4dadbc2831f0f295f

EDIT: It seems that in order to generate the zfs_gitrev.h file using the Makefile macro, we need to ./configure it before and that can be messy.

I found one easy way to deal with the problem, simply call it in dkms.conf (generated from src/zfs/scripts/dkms.mkconf) along with the main make command: MAKE[0]="make gitrev > include/zfs_gitrev.h && make -C module/"

This also applies to the zfs-dkms-git package.
