autkin,
You are trying to upgrade to the different versions of the packages. Please try to upgrade to the same version at once.
Couldn't update, patched thus:

I updated and rebuilt both zfs-utils-git and zfs-dkms-git at once today.

Is it intentional that this package does not explicitly provide 'zfs' as well? This breaks some packages like zfsbootmenu.
@ckane Thanks for the patch!
Note that due to the way aurweb converts tabs to spaces, only-build-mod.patch doesn’t apply as is when using the patch from your comment. I had to work around this by first applying the patch and then post-processing only-build-mod.patch like so:
sed -i -E -e 's/^([-+ ])\s{6}/\1\t/' only-build-mod.patch
After that fix, I was able to build and install the package, and the kernel module built and installed correctly via DKMS.
The fixes for the missing Kbuild targets in the make system were merged into ZFS today. The rest of the build issues are due to upstream modification to AC_CONFIG_FILES, a change to dkms.conf, as well as a new helper script needed during build. The following patch to the current AUR should fix things:
diff --git a/0001-only-build-the-module-in-dkms.conf.patch b/0001-only-build-the-module-in-dkms.conf.patch

EDIT: Apparently, this is an upstream issue and is not related to this package.
@yurikoles, trying to build 2.3.99.r476.gbe1e991a1a today. The package itself builds fine, but the DKMS building process terminates with error 10. Log shows:
Building module(s) # command: make -j4 KERNELRELEASE=6.15.7-arch1-1 -C module/ make: Entering directory '/var/lib/dkms/zfs/2.3.99.r476.gbe1e991a1a/build/module' make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop. make: Leaving directory '/var/lib/dkms/zfs/2.3.99.r476.gbe1e991a1a/build/module' # exit code: 2 # elapsed time: 00:00:00
@yurikoles
Sorry. I've copied and pasted the wrong log yesterday.
Both modules failed(zfs and digimend) and didn't install into de initrd.
I'll erase that log to avoid confusion.
Edit: Ok, looks like the specific zfs/2.3.99.r92.gd0a91b9f88 built correctly.
==> dkms install --no-depmod zfs/2.3.99.r92.gd0a91b9f88 -k 6.12.1-arch1-1
==> depmod 6.12.1-arch1-1

@nwildner
You better report your error with digimend-kernel-
drivers/11.r41.ge359a05 to the corresponding package, it's completely unrelated to zfs-dkms-git.
Kernel 6.12 not compatible (yet) with this module so, take care guys and revert with:
pacman -u /var/cache/pacman/pkg/linux-6.11.9.arch1-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst /var/cache/pacman/pkg/linux-headers-6.11.9.arch1-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zs
@Ranguvar,
I believe that the problem you're facing was fixed a week ago. Please try again with the latest PKGBUILD.

In order to update this package and avoid version pinning cycle, you need to build both packages,
zfs-utils-gitandzfs-dkms-gitwithout installing them. Then install a same newer version of both of them in one transaction viapacman -U <path/to/built/zfs-utils-git> <path/to/built/zfs-dkms-git>.
