base-devel is needed to build AUR packages. As for aarch64 I am generally hesitant on adding non-Arch Linux arches I cannot even test build. makepkg has an --ignorearch flag

Thanks!

While on it, can you also add pkgconfig to makedepends - a pkgconfig implementation is, in fact, needed for a successful build. And one final thing - can you also add aarch64 to arch :-)

The last migrate should have happened two years ago so I'm not sure how big of a deal it is anymore, but you are certainly not wrong. I'll fix it this week.

Not quite sure why the original maintainer went with moving instead of notifying like znc in repos, I just kind of followed in their footsteps.

Thanks!

The post_install hook fails when /var/lib/znc/.znc is a symlink/mount because mv cannot merge multi-device trees.

Also, moving data files when znc is running really screws things up.

That been said, moving user data is definitely a bad idea. You should let the user know that the data directory has changed but let them move the data on their own.

And if you really think you know better, please use cp instead of mv (but please don't!)

This package fails to build because the URL for the Csocket submodule needs to be updated 1. The line git submodule update will also need to be changed to something like git -c protocol.file.allow=always submodule update due to changes in git 2.

Upstream znc.service expects the datadir at /var/lib/znc but znc-git.install moves it to /var/lib/znc/.znc, requiring manual intervention every upgrade. Please remove the migration in post_upgrade.

Package out of date, the updated flag in PKGBUILD should be:

arch=('any')

disastro commented on 2018-05-23 15:30 (UTC)

If someone can get back to me that the updated package works on ARM I can add the architectures to the PKGBUILD. Thanks :)

Is there any chance that some of the arm architectures could get added to this? I personally use armv7h but I'm sure there are others on which znc-git does indeed compile fine. It sucks having to manually edit it in.
