That's very optimistic of you, @Bitals. Nonetheless, I've added the provides line, as well as a conflicts line that I think is appropriate.

Thanks for the package @mythmon

Could you please add provides="zsa-keymapp" so I can cleanly depend on it? It will also be useful in the off chance ZSA open-sources this in the future and an actual source package pops up.

I've updated the package to use webkit2gtk-4.1 instead of webkit2gtk in version 1.2.0-2.

After updating I was getting the following error trying to open the application:

keymapp: error while loading shared libraries: libwebkit2gtk-4.1.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Had to install webkit2gtk-4.1 to get it working again.

New version 1.1.1 released

The used source URL seems to be working again

mythmon commented on 2024-03-07 18:35 (UTC)

1.1.0 has been released, but the source URL that we've been using returns a HTTP 403 when requesting 1.1.0.

That would make a lot of sense, considering keymapp seems to supersede wally...

This package depends on zsa-udev to get udev rules. I'd like to see if we can add it there instead.

Getting a permissions error when running the application:

Failed to open a device with path '/dev/hidraw1': Permission denied

Am I the only one?

EDIT: got in touch with customer service, and have to create a udev rule to make it work. Is it possible to include this in the package? Instructions: https://github.com/zsa/wally/wiki/Linux-install

Unfortunately ZSA doesn't seem to be publishing individual versions, just a "-latest" binary. I've update the expected hash to match today's latest. Oddly, the version number of the app didn't change.
