@totor-dev Now that the package has a known pkgver (at build time), it’s perfectly fine as is. No need to rename.

I have now modified the source of the package. It is not a Git repository anymore but a tarball. Do I still need to change the package name?

Hi @totor-dev,

If zz-git is already used by an unrelated package, the proper method to name your package would be to choose an unique package name that is different from zz, e.g. zz-eeec or zz-eeec-cal, then append -git to it.

For example: zz-eeec-git or zz-eeec-cal-git.

I'm very sorry, but the name zz-git is already used by another package. Therefore I cannot rename it to zz-git :(
