For the out-of-date flag from 2024-03-25:
Yes, Linaro is now using upstream, WHICH in turn makes their new snapshot builds of upstream a separate package, not an update of this.
In the first case, I updated/added these "legacy" Linaro packages because some of the old projects I was working with at the time rely on these, and don't play well with new upstream gcc/binutils/newlib.
