The launcher files are installed under the group "games". Please add your user to this group with usermod -a -G games, otherwise the launcher will not be able to auto-update itself properly.

To disable the popup asking for system integration at each startup, execute touch $HOME/.local/share/appimagekit/no_desktopintegration.

@AndreLaxe I updated the package. Since I'm not on an Arch-system at the moment I just updated it blindly without testing, hopefully it worked

@elppans I don't think it's a good idea. Doing this forces something that should be opt-in. Adding your user to this group only allows the launcher to update itself. Some people don't like their packages updating themselves because this is supposed to be the package manager's job. Also, it's a one-time thing, not something you need to do every time you update the package

@Genesis Hello everything is fine? I have a suggestion: In the ankama-launcher.install file, you can add, inside the post_install() parameter, the following command:

usermod -a -G games $SUDO_USER

In this way, the system administrator user is added to the group after installing the package automatically, so manual addition is not necessary. Unless the user who installed the distro didn't configure sudo.

Hey, thanks for the amazing work mantaining this. I was playing without any problem but now the ms5sum validity test is failing again for the AppImage
