I have now created a package asap-chiptunes-player-git) which also installs VLC plugin, python module and /usr/bin/asap2wav and which most prominently does not name-conflict with bioarchlinux/asap.

Regards!

There is a name clash with asap:

In the repository "bioarchlinux", there also is a package asap, which is something completely different:

"Assemble Species by Automatic Partitioning https://doi.org/10.1111/1755-0998.13281"

Can you rename your package (and I also ping the bioarchlinux maintainer to rename their package), so that that clash is resolved?

Regards!

Thanks, I've added it to the options. Also, I've temporarily disabled audacious plugin as it doesn't build right now.

The library itself isn't actually (necessarily) included in the package since makepkg.conf defaults to the '!staticlibs' option. It would be friendly to add 'options=(staticlibs)' to prevent it from being stripped from the package.
