I suspected that would be the case. Thank you for the tip @a36233.

@pmcnr -> that's an upstream bug. Workaround -> at /etc/makepkg.conf append --ciphers DEFAULT@SECLEVEL=1 to curl https line. 'https::/usr/bin/curl -qgb "" -fLC - --retry 3 --retry-delay 3 --ciphers DEFAULT@SECLEVEL=1 -o %o %u'

I'm getting the following error when trying to install the latest version (20240312-1):

curl: (35) OpenSSL/3.2.1: error:0A00018A:SSL routines::dh key too small ==> ERROR: Failure while downloading https://pki.cartaodecidadao.pt/publico/certificado/cc_ec_cidadao_cmd/EC%20de%20Chave%20Movel%20Digital%20de%20Assinatura%20Digital%20Qualificada%20do%20Cartao%20de%20Cidadao%2000003.cer

These certificates are not needed for vpn. That message is a warning or error ? Also what is the certificate that issues that message ? https://ssl-tools.net/subjects/c3fdea1eaa0ebede75016eec6e5bb393f0f12e5d This certificate is not related to portuguese eID.

Hi @a36233, Are these certificates still in use/up-to-date? I recently had issues with a VPN connection (strongswan) if I had this package installed. Removing autenticacao-gov-pt-pki would reliably solve the connection problems, and reinstalling it would reliably make it fail. I was able to reproduce the issue in 3 separate systems. The message that stands out when attempting the connection with the certificates installed is this:

charon-nm[22374]: 11[CFG] using untrusted intermediate certificate "C=NL, O=GEANT Vereniging, CN=GEANT OV RSA CA 4"

It's not even an error, but it is not shown if the certificates' package is not installed. Eventually this is not a packaging problem, but rather an upstream issue. If you think this might be the case, please advise on the best place to report it upstream.

Thank you in advance!
