Autopano Giga is now free to use:

https://hdrmaps.com/blog/autopano-giga-is-now-free/

Abovementioned website has the needed registration code:

User/ Email: freecopy@kolor.com
Code: KAPG7-K3A9X-IZJHX-FIIT7-C5IM8-MQF2N

Maybe you update your package to have $pkgdesc reflecting that free registration is available, and have the code both present in comments in the PKGBUILD, in a pinned comment here, and written to stdout in post_install() and post_upgrade via an install-script?

Regards!

Thank you very much for this Linux version. Autopano Giga is still the best!

Hi, sorry I wasn't receiving notifications for whatever reasons... It should be fixed now. Long live APG ^^

Can you in /usr/bin/autopanogiga, which invokes /opt/kolor/autopanogiga/AutopanoGiga.sh, change the $@ to "$@" (i.e. enclose it in double quotes), please? Thus making it possible to pass arguments with spaces.

Thanks for maintaining!

Hi, package has been updated to APG 4.4. You can report packaging problems here, and software bugs in the APG forum (http://www.kolor.com/forum/viewforum.php?sid=&f=54) Thanks!

I don't know. Indeed the download seems slow in this way (250-350k) but was successfull for me...

i tested the PKGBUILD with the new and the old URL. my download with the old URL is significantly faster. the download from the new URL fails after a while of a painfully slow download. this always happened regardless of the time of day i tried to download. does anybody else have trouble with the new URL?

Indeed. Done. Thanks.

I suggest using urls from http://download.kolor.com/apg/stable/history instead of the non-versionned shortcut. http://download.kolor.com/apg/stable/linux64tar/4.2.3.400 would be the url for the current latest version, and this will stay up even if a new version comes out: this package won't break anymore!
