All it needed was xorg-fonts-misc, but this turned into a bit of a wild goose chase because apparently you need to reboot (or do something else) after installing xorg-fonts-misc before the system will actually find the fonts.

In any case, it should work now, but you may need a reboot if you don't already have xorg-fonts-misc installed.

Looks like this is probably an artifact of the X fonts I already had installed on the dev machine, and we need to add something to the depends array in the PKGBUILD. I'm investigating...

When I try to display the geometry (I've tried several geometries including the b737 and supergee supplied in the runs directory). Each time, I receive the following error, which kills the program.

X Error of failed request:  BadName (named color or font does not exist)
  Major opcode of failed request:  45 (X_OpenFont)
  Serial number of failed request:  26
  Current serial number in output stream:  28
