Hi, can you update this package to depend on activitywatch instead of hardcoding activitywatch-bin? I just created https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/activitywatch-git, because I was frustrated with the pyinstaller based distribution of the -bin package.
I tested this package locally against activitywatch-git, by modifying the PKGBUILD and works perfectly fine.
I can also take over the maintenance of this, I plan on contributing most of my changes upstream.

Hi xeruf, I adopted this package for the same reason as you adopted aw-client, I don't have any other packages to maintain so I'd be happy to adopt aw-client or disown this if you'd rather do it. Feel free to email me :)

This depends on the outdated aw-client which I just adopted to update it, but I am happy to disown it again. Either way I think it would be sensible to have aw-client and this package maintained together ;)

Also, please remove the conflict with activitywatch-bin. It includes the server component (aw-server or even aw-server-rust) which are needed by this package.

The build error has been fixed in latest head, see https://github.com/ActivityWatch/aw-watcher-window-wayland/issues/20

Fails to build for me due to "Failed to find OpenSSL development headers".
I also have the same error if I just clone the repo code and try to build locally, but what helped was installing
openssl-1.1and running the build command as:OPENSSL_LIB_DIR=/usr/lib/openssl-1.1/ OPENSSL_INCLUDE_DIR=/usr/include/openssl-1.1/ cargo build --release
