I tried many times without success. I finally got it installed following the official AWS DOCS: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/elasticbeanstalk/latest/dg/eb-cli3-install-linux.html

Building with pacaur would require posting a bunch of junk python packages to the AUR. It would be much better to pressure upstream into testing and allowing the newer versions.

I'm sorry, but instructions in PKGBUILD are not clear enough. And a lot of us uses pacaur or other aur package manager that will not allow changes on build files. Please, add the instructions to a description or comment here and update to working dependencies.

Instructions are in PKGBUILD.

This package requires versions of two packages below the the system version: warning: cannot resolve "python-requests<=2.9.1", a dependency of "aws-eb-cli" warning: cannot resolve "python-docker-py<=1.7.2", a dependency of "aws-eb-cli" My system has: python-requests 2.10.0-1 python-docker-py 1.8.1-1

I fixed python-pyyaml -> python-yaml. The rest are AUR packages. Install them same way you install this package and this will install.
