Here's an updated PKGBUILD for both barrier-git and barrier-headless-git that fixes issues with conflicts and provides and also switches to the new upstream repo. I'm not sure why this package was un-split. AUR has supported split packages since at least 2014.

Since both packages use the same source code, keeping this as a split package should simplify maintenance. For example, I see a bug was fixed related to git submodules in the headless package but was never fixed in this package.

The snap package for barrier is at versions 2.4.* Is there a version of barrier on the aur that is up to date with the upstream releases? https://github.com/debauchee/barrier/releases

Upstream developer added it in https://github.com/debauchee/barrier/pull/1345. Apparently it's a library for filesystem operations.

Hi, could you add git to makedepends (allowing build in clean chroots) and provides/conflicts=(barrier)? Similar improvements are also applicable to barrier-headless-git.

Yeah now it's working, but it definitely wasn't before, others got the same error.
