(Ignore previous comment) This package seems to be missing many of the actual tools. Most notably the bcache command utility itself.

It seems like the problem is that the /sbin or /usr/sbin directory is not included.

I've updated the version to 1.1. I thought bcache-tools was dead on the development end, but I guess I was wrong. Thanks for the new url!

That patched and built fine yup, though I think it's pretty much the same as my 2nd link so it makes sense.

Thank you for taking over this!

I have adopted the package and made the required fixes. The dracut bcache module is now installed and loaded.

As I don't use it, I've orphaned it now. Maybe somebody of it's users may adopt it.

Hello, your new initcpio-arch patch fails to apply but this works: https://gist.github.com/John-Gee/2ce1e7485ff5b2ac5eaf1b35ef3a63a7

it fails to install as /lib is a symlink so it probably needs fixing the line and not just putting it back as is like: https://gist.github.com/John-Gee/d425d3c537f77131cb20569f3ea35825

bjo commented on 2020-03-03 09:08 (UTC)

Removed dracut from the initcpio-arch.patch.

TankMissile commented on 2020-02-22 04:07 (UTC)

Dracut will replace mkinitcpio at some point, and so patching out the dracut module in initcpio-arch.patch is no longer necessary. Could the patch be fixed to address this issue?
