As I see it, 2FA needs some kind of web browser implementation to validate access. I want to keep things simple, no way to add this kind of stuff directly. Users have choice to use whatever providers they want to get mails, even one that uses personal users data for their own business, and adding on the other hand restrictions on access for a security reason. WTF ? And by the way, GOA doesn't need a full gnome installation or usage

I'm not a gnome user but this package works really well as as a standalone mail notification. With 2FA enable the notifications fails, because bubblemail hasn't implemented this option. I guess the same will happen to other similar packages.

If it works with gnome online accounts it will work with bubblemail. Otherwise maybe it's the time to switch to a provider that respects privacy

Hello, someone knows if this package will work after May 30 with the new access restrictions in google accounts?

I completely cleaned up my .local/lib/python3.8 and it somehow now works :-)

@razer, I'm using setuptools 50.3.2

@marmottus Can you please provide the version of python-setuptools involved, can't reproduce it
