for those who want to update the PKGBUILD to 1.0.0 :

Wouldn't launch after install.

Solved by installing libayatana-appindicator

It is just a wrapper for the OpenAI ChatGPT website and does not add any additional features, so I understand that it should be possible to switch directly. Switching to lencx/ChatGPT has the following benefits:

• More active maintenance (which is important)
• Export ChatGPT history (PNG, PDF and Share Link)
• awesome-chatgpt-prompts

Can we consider changing the upstream https://github.com/lencx/ChatGPT?

This is a great application. But I'm not sure if replacing the upstream is a good thing or if there is anything to be aware of.
