Package now split to 3 - client, server, kernel module. This package follows develop branch so if you want the latest released check corefreq-dkms. Please report any issues!

DKMS is now controlled by pacman hooks. not need the install file. and the fakeroot is part of the base-devel group

Error! Could not find module source directory.
Directory: /usr/src/*-* does not exist.

I have check each line of your output, the compilation looks OK.
* the driver is now installed into /usr/lib/modules/4.8.6-1-ARCH/kernel/misc/corefreqk.ko
* the daemon in /usr/bin/corefreqd and the client in /usr/bin/corefreq-cli

HOW-TO
--- --- --- --- --- --- ---
Start CoreFreq in 3 steps
--- --- --- --- --- --- ---

* First, load the driver (as root):
modprobe corefreqk

* Second, start the daemon (as root):
corefreqd

* Third, start the client (with your user account):
corefreq-cli

--- --- --- --- --- --- ---
