I am OK to do so in case you want to give up.

Anyway, reworked PKGBUILD that actually takes into account the upstream release package version, ↗ here.

I stopped using Arch Linux a while ago, so I am disowning this package - if you or anyone else wants to maintain it, feel free to do so.

python-launchpadlib needs to be added to makedepends:
