I don't have the time to update it at the moment and no longer use the package myself, so I've disowned it

@franga2000 Do you intend to update this package? If not, please disown so someone else can update.

Although your profile shows a login a couple weeks ago, I see no real AUR activity (comments or package updates) since Oct 2021.

Following changes are needed:

  • Update pkgver(), in accordance with VCS package guidelines.
  • Add conflicts on ddcui
  • Point url to git project page to make checking project status easier
  • Minor updates/revision to build() and package()

Dear maintainer,

thanks for this package.

Can you please strip off the leading v in $pkgver, as laid out in the VCS packaging guidelines?

Regards!

@PopeRigby: when I was packaging this, ddcui was using some changes that weren't available in the release version of ddcutil. It is possible that a new version of ddcutil has since been released - I haven't been following it closely. Have you managed to build it with the official version?

@morricone: good find, thanks! Looks like a build-time dependency - I'll add it right away

Why does this rely on ddcutil-git? Shouldn't it rely on just ddcutil from the official repositories?

There's a dependency on qt5-tools missing:

CMake Error at /usr/lib64/cmake/Qt5/Qt5Config.cmake:28 (find_package):
Could not find a package configuration file provided by "Qt5Help" with any
  of the following names:

    Qt5HelpConfig.cmake
    qt5help-config.cmake

Add the installation prefix of "Qt5Help" to CMAKE_PREFIX_PATH or set
"Qt5Help_DIR" to a directory containing one of the above files. If
"Qt5Help" provides a separate development package or SDK, be sure it has
  been installed.
Call Stack (most recent call first):
  CMakeLists.txt:45 (find_package)
