Thanks! Back to up-to-date :)

The problem you describe has already been fixed here. The package needs to be rebuilt by chaotic-aur. I will take care of it shortly.

Issue 2858 is not related to this package. It is referring to packages with broken kf5 (kde) / qt5 depends. To see a list of packages that may be affected, check out kf5-transition-dummy.

Hi Xiota, I cannot update my system as you have removed the provides = ddcutil instruction. Package powerdevil, from kde has it in its dependencies: erreur : la préparation de la transaction a échoué (la satisfaction des dépendances a échoué) :: l’installation de ddcutil-git (2.0.0.r82.g9c861bd4-1) casse la dépendance « ddcutil » requise par powerdevil Is it to be fixed here or in powerdevil? Or maybe it is to chaotic-aur where I should ask to update to latest version? 5 chaotic-aur/ddcutil-git 2.0.0.r42.g19baa12e-1 -> 2.0.0.r82.g9c861bd4-1 I see this issue, is it related: https://github.com/chaotic-aur/packages/issues/2858

@painfularch Clear your cache or build in a clean chroot.

@xiota: Users have reported legitimate issues since you took over maintainership--that's what I was referring to. I see you've taken care of them now. Thanks for doing that. I bid you a good day. Peace brother.

@yochananmarqos Stop commenting on this package, except to report or assist others with legitimate issues.

@xiota: Good, there's nothing to argue about. I was only reiterating my point based on recent comments. Remember, you reap what you sow. ;)

@yochananmarqos I'm not going to argue with you about this. If you have legitimate requests to fix issues, I'll fix them. The package had 3-4 issues (left over from your maintainership) that had to be addressed, and only 1 issue introduced by a typo, which you did not spot earlier, and is now fixed.
