The package with the prebuilt binaries has been moved to "deskreen-bin". For those who don't want to compile "deskreen" they can use the binary option:

It appears, you forgot to update the check sum. It doesn't build with:

==> Validating source files with b2sums...
deskreen-source.tar.gz ... FAILED
deskreen.desktop ... Passed

@Tio: Me too. The PKGBUILD file had been changed a lot by the new maintainer, which may cause this error.

After this latest update I cannot start it anymore:

~ >>> deskreen                                                                 
zsh: command not found: deskreen

It worked very well before. Any idea what happened?

I'm using sway, and I can't share desktop (black screen) or a wayland window. I can only share Xwayland window.

If I start deskreen with : deskreen --enable-features=WebRTCPipeWireCapturer

I've got : ERROR:base_capturer_pipewire.cc(279)] Failed to load the PipeWire library and symbols.
