Not sure if this project is still active, but doesn't seem to be working on my machine. It installs alright, but when I launch it nothing happens. System details below.

I'm very sorry for neglecting this package for so long :( I've updated it to the latest version and cleaned it up: - Removed the .install file - Removed the make dependency on rpmextract - Using sha512 hashes - Code style - Removed PKGEXT environment variable override

This package should be named duck-bin to conform with the packaging standards since it isn't a source based package.

I've updated duck to the latest version, and moved the creation of the symlink into /usr/bin in the PKGBUILD. I wasn't sure of a good way to remove the symlink in /usr/local/bin, so I decided to leave it for the time being. I'm also not sure of the best way to go about changing on the .desktop file is managed, as I'm not running an Arch install with a GUI at the moment.

Besides a .desktop file not really being called for yet, there can be other changes. At least if I understand the packaging standards correctly, the link to '/opt/duck/duck' should go into '/usr/bin', not '/usr/local/bin', and it can just be produced withing the PKGBUILD, not in the .install file. By packaging it, conflicts between packages can be properly managed, pacman can do the uninstalling etc.

At least, if a desktop link is wanted, IMHO it does not really make sense (yet)
