Hi, I'm currently unable to build the package: ==> ERROR: url should not be an array

The sprunge link has expired, here's a hopefully-forever gist: https://gist.github.com/pbrisbin/6126448

Had trouble getting this to install. Not sure if it was because of the use of $startdir or the lack of package(). Either way, here's a PKGBUILD that worked for me: http://sprunge.us/IbES?sh

It compiled just fine now after the update and I have not installed anything else. Thanks for the update!

I have updated the package and added libXss as a dependency. epaaj, maybe you are missing dependencies (libxss?).

I get the same error as OK100. I tried the fix that Isola suggests but got new error. Any ideas? main.o: In function `queryscreeninfo': main.c:(.text+0x7c): undefined reference to `XineramaIsActive' main.c:(.text+0x8d): undefined reference to `XineramaQueryScreens' main.o: In function `main': main.c:(.text.startup+0x102b): undefined reference to `XineramaQueryScreens' draw.o: In function `parse_line': draw.c:(.text+0xb8d): undefined reference to `XpmReadFileToPixmap' draw.c:(.text+0x1aa4): undefined reference to `XpmFreeAttributes' collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make: *** [dzen2] Error 1 ==> ERROR: A failure occurred in build(). I got it to compile by changing line 38 from this: LIBS=" -L/usr/lib -lc -L${X11LIB} -lX11 -lXinerama -lXpm `pkg-config --libs xft`" || return 1 Into this: LIBS=" -L/usr/lib -lc -L${X11LIB} -lXss -lX11 -lXinerama -lXpm `pkg-config --libs xft`" || return 1

It doesn't compile: /usr/bin/ld: draw.o: undefined reference to symbol 'XFillArc' /usr/bin/ld: note: 'XFillArc' is defined in DSO /usr/lib/libX11.so.6 so try adding it to the linker command line /usr/lib/libX11.so.6: could not read symbols: Invalid operation collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make: *** [dzen2] Error 1 ==> ERROR: A failure occurred in build(). Aborting...

XPM support doesn't seem to be compiled in. XFT and Xinerama work fine. I'm not sure how to get it working.
