@PedroHLC no idea, this one was initially submitted 1+ year before https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/elm-bin/, but they install the same exact thing. A merge request should be submitted in either direction, tho it is unclear which way is more appropriate.

I don't understand how/why exactly there is an "elm-bin", but there is and it's used with the LSP. Could you put this one to provide "elm-bin" and conflict with it?

I believe ncurses5-compat-libs is not required. Or at least, I seem to be able to use the binary without it.

Can you add
provides = ('elm-platform')
to the PKGBUILD so that dependencies from other packges are fulfilled?

Could you please add
conflicts = ('elm-platform')
to the PKGBUILD since those two packages conflict? ;)
