No. emacs-icicles needs emacs-hexrgb.

Uninstall emacs-jabber's old package version, fetch the newest PKGBUILD and rebuild it, then reinstall it.

Hello,

I think we can get rid of the emacs-hexrgb dependency... I am getting the following

(1/1) checking for file conflicts [########################################################] 100% error: failed to commit transaction (conflicting files) emacs-hexrgb: /usr/share/emacs/site-lisp/hexrgb.el exists in filesystem emacs-hexrgb: /usr/share/emacs/site-lisp/hexrgb.elc exists in filesystem Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded. ==> ERROR: 'pacman' failed to install missing dependencies.

acman -Qo /usr/share/emacs/site-lisp/hexrgb.el /usr/share/emacs/site-lisp/hexrgb.el is owned by emacs-jabber 0.8.92-2

Cheers,

/Pico

What says echo $EMACS? It should say "emacs" or "xemacs", but not "23.3.1".

I see the git version script uses --libexecdir=/usr/lib/emacs-jabber

This needs to define --libexecdir=/usr/lib (?) and maybe --disable-schemas-install as well. It can optionally depend on gconf while flim isnt found anywhere in the source. README says: "SASL ==== jabber.el will use the SASL library of Emacs (from version 23) or Gnus (from No Gnus 0.3) if it's present. If not, it will fall back to XEP-0077 authentication." No mention of flim.
