Run-time dependency libadwaita-1 found: NO (tried pkgconfig and cmake)

libadwaita should be added as runtime dependency.

Fixed up the deps.

Symlink question remains, as well as getting Jasmine tests to run.

Would appreciate help with the latter, it seems it will first require packaging up https://github.com/jasmine/jasmine

A lot of users having issue starting flatseal. Seems it requires webkit2gtk-4.1 not the regular webkit2gtk

So PKGBUILD needs to reflect that. Replace in depends...

Strange that this is happening...

whynothugo commented on 2023-03-03 10:02 (UTC)

webkit2gtk is already listed as a dependency.

kimiblock@moeOS ~/Downloads> com.github.tchx84.Flatseal
Unsatisfied dependency: WebKit2

Missing dependency webkit2gtk-4.1

libhandy is also a runtime dependency, without it installed I got Unsatisfied dependency: Handy. And I second the missing appstream-glib dependency.

Seems to need appstream-glib to be installed in order to run. I'd suggest adding it to deps() directly.

That's a very reasonable idea. Can you ask upstream if they'll consider it?

If upstream can make the change themselves, it'll trickle down to us and other distros. If they're against it, I'll add it to package().

@whynothugo have you considered adding a line to the package() section that is or is something like ln -s com.github.tchx84.Flatseal /usr/bin/flatseal to make like easier for people who often launch binaries from the terminal?
