Broken by Arch packaging change.

Needs to use wx-config, not wx-config-gtk3, after wxgtk3 dependency got renamed in Arch repo to wxwidgets-gtk3.

I looked into the internet and now I know that the open source remake is made by the orginal developer of the dink game.

So logically gnu should stop freedink and focus on the more modern RTDink.

(But to be honest, I have no clue why the original developer just didn't update the sources of freedink in a v2.0 branch.)

Haven't seen this repo before … it's the offical game, a remake (HD-Version) and open source … though seems nobody built it for Linux. I guess it would be possible if someone would invest time into it. Interesting is that one can also download the game files from his site and probably use it with the freedink engine.

What's the difference to https://github.com/SethRobinson/RTDink ?

The backport patches' shasums are outdated.

I had to add 'git' as a make-depends. It's used by ./bootstrap in prepare().

My make failed until I installed intltool. Does that need to be added as a dependency?
