It's just there to be able to test the old engines in the demos.

Hey, is there any reason to have the “enable old engines but keep adobe as default” patch? It’s not included in the main freetype repo, and it’s been updated more recently than this one as of now.

@heftig Thanks will follow up there. Now, regarding this, the build fails with the following error:

"/usr/bin/python3: No module named docwriter make: *** [/tmp/makepkg/freetype2-git/src/freetype2/builds/freetype.mk:301: refdoc] Error 1"

Can we enable Cleartype subpixel rendering with this? I noted this packages has Adobe thing, just wanted to make sure if it is related?
