@Shanto: Well, you don't. But given the scope of the package and the fact that you're applying (only 3) patches provided by an "upstream", I think it's fine. You'll clearly see any reject and where it happened.

@Yegorius: No, the point is to _not_ iterate over ls (http://mywiki.wooledge.org/ParsingLs). If you insist on using a loop, use a glob, i.e. for patch in *.patch; do patch -Np1 < "$patch"; done

@jskier A slight change to /etc/fonts/conf.d/31-cantarell.conf has made Cantarell fonts appear again.

Edit 31-cantarell.conf and change the binding from "weak" to "strong". See http://www.infinality.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=131&start=50#p875

falconindy@ Thanks! Updated this in the way you like, but without bumping $pkgrel because the resulting package doesn't give you anything new. However, I have a question for you. Having all patch files concatenated together, how do you tell exactly which patch file failed after a patch failure (in future, with later versions of freetype2 and/or infinality)?

Even simplier:
local pf
for pf in $(ls ${srcdir}/freetype-*.patch); do
patch -Np1 -i ${pf}
done

@falconindy can't see spoiled bash scripts, can you :)

Can we get some sanity in this PKGBUILD? I really dislike seeing iteration over ls when the proper syntax is fewer keystrokes...

The issue of tiny fonts in certain places was fixed for me by setting INFINALITY_FT_AUTOHINT_INCREASE_GLYPH_HEIGHTS to false. There must be some weird bug, because what happens in some cases is actually the opposite of the intended effect.

Hey, a heads-up: update you /etc/profile.d/infinality-settings.sh with infinality-settings.pacnew! Some old settings are no longer needed, and there are some new ones.

Re: cantarell fonts, going back to plain freetype2 package fixes things, so it probably is infinality.
