Your install script says

If you are using [multilib], please install/upgrade
lib32-freetype2-infinality, too.

But this package isn't provided here. Will you provide one or should someone else do it? I could do it, but I think it would make more sense if it had the same maintaner as this package here :-)

Works fine now, thanks!

Updated, thanks for the info. Actually I haven't looked at e-mails and I've noticed those comments just after uploading fixed version..

Please update the PKGBUILD from the bohomill github repository[1] (he fixed the libfreetype.so issue[2])

As a quick fix I suggest the following:
provides=('libfreetype.so' 'freetype2=$pkgver' 'freetype2-infinality' 'freetype2-infinality-ultimate')

We need to edit the PKGBUILD for this version, most likely the maintainer will provide a fixed PKGBUILD for the next version.

$ pacman -Q freetype2-infinality; pacman -Qi freetype2-infinality | grep Provides
freetype2-infinality 2.6.3-2
Provides : freetype2=2.6.3 freetype2-infinality freetype2-infinality-ultimate libfreetype.so=6-64

I get a conflict when updating

looking for conflicting packages...
:: freetype2 and freetype2-infinality are in conflict. Remove freetype2-infinality? [y/N]

As @graysky said, maybe the PKGBUILD needs be updated.

BlubbTec commented on 2016-05-08 22:40

It seems that harfbuzz now depends on freetype2, and thus I get a conflict when updating:

:: freetype2 and freetype2-infinality are in conflict

Not sure what the solution is for this case.

graysky commented on 2016-05-08 13:27

Note that libbluray now requires libfreetype.so so please mirror [extra]/freetype2's PKGBUILD and add the following:

provides=('libfreetype.so')

Weird. Works for me.
