@MarsSeed thank you for pointing that out. However, 1.4.dev was not an official release, but more of a commit between 1.3 and 1.4, that fixed some issues that prevented 1.3 from being usable on Arch.

With 1.4 released, I am now sticking again to official releases.

You have to add epoch=1 to the beginning of the PKGBUILD, because the pkgver has been decreased from 1.4.dev to 1.4.

@hix

in the meantime, you could remove the ./COPYING from every pkgbuild, and the build works just fine.

@hlx Thanks for reporting it will be fixed in the next release because 1.3 will be release soon.

Either I'm too numb or every single package has the same bug in PKGBUILD:

"../../fusiondirectory-1.2.3/COPYING" is not a part of the upstream package (anymore)

@chetwisniewski

If you have any issues it would be better to do a tickit in our gitlab. https://gitlab.fusiondirectory.org/archlinux/archlinux/issues

Thanks.

Any updates? It's been 6 months and I would like to update.

@chetwisniewski

It's just that the first tar.gz where not good created when I update the PKGBUILD the first time.

You can check it manually if you want install this version, but 1.3 will be release soon (1 week or so).

When 1.3 is out I will redo my Archlinux VM, update PKGBUILD and see if I have the same perl warning than you.

Cheers.
