@theriddick Updated.
This patch is for workaround gamescope issue #948, the GitHub issue still open, but from my test it has been fixed in the latest version of Nvidia driver, so this patch is not needed.
I still want to keep this package, in case new version of gamescope broken in Nvidia system.

The core gamescope is at version 3.16.7/9+ now which apparently should work like it did back in 3.16.2, basically all the versions in between had a series of major issues due to some refactoring of code causing issues elsewhere.

Might be worth updating this, are the patches even needed anymore? I dunno.

While you can build with 3.x, there seems to be some other issue going on as gamescope doesn't work very well or at or in certain situations.

Hope it gets updated soon. Certainly the itm-hdr features are borked!

Gamescope-nvidia can`t be build with the new cmake Version 4.X Downgrade to 3.X and its buildable again

Package unbuildable until next week since freedesktop.org git is down for maintenance

Edit: already resolved. freedesktop.org gitlab migration got into a usable state quicker than they estimated.
