Note: as of Septermber 10th, 2020, this package will become depreciated. This package will still install but we advise switching over to the gdlauncher-bin package which is identicaly to this one except it fetches a ZIP file instead of an AppImage. Additionally you can use the gdlauncher package for source compilation of the version or gdlauncher-git for bleeding edge latest from source code compilation.

Note: as of May 4th, 2020, this package will now start shipping the next branch instead of master branch. We believe that this branch is stable enough to start using on this package.

Hey, so I am currently using this package and have found a small issue with the install on non-standard kernels. If the kernel.unprivileged_userns_clone=1 option is not set, the chrome-sandbox must be owned by root with chmod mode 4755 enabled. This probably should be set up to improve package robustness across different kernels.

@macmv Forgot to reply to your comment; but the package has now been updated to reflect these dependency changes and I've verified it works - thanks.

This package can no longer install, as the dependencies libindicator and libappindicator no longer exist. This should be changed to libindicator-gtk3 and libappindicator-gtk3.

@Erus_Iluvatar - Good catch, I've removed the dependency in the latest commit. Thanks.

The dependency on gconf is not needed, it can safely be removed when you update the PKGBUILD. Thanks!

Thanks! It builds and installs successfully for me now.

@Kage-Yami - I just updated the package to 0.12.2 and fixed the bugs you mentioned. It should be good to build and install now :)
