Tests have been disabled for now (on gdm-settings and gdm-settings-beta packages). So, the app should install and work fine now.

The issue has been fixed upstream as well. So, with the 4.2 release, tests would be re-enabled.

I used yay to install the package. Same result with the git package and even the beta. Before I start to mess with the local files, I feel like this should be fixed upstream.

@lnoferin Hey, sorry for being so late to reply.

First of all, you are building an old version of gdm-settings. It has seen 2 bug fix releases (pretty important ones) since then.

2nd, if you are on Arch Linux, why are you trying to build manually? Does the AUR package not build either?

@mazharhuassain trying to compile manually I get these errors:

Maybe try installing other AUR packages that use blueprint-compiler during build. A list of programs built with blueprint is provided here.

@neuronestanco Everything on your system seems to be fine. I don't know why meson wouldn't pass the arguments to blueprint-compiler. It seems to call other programs with arguments just fine.

Maybe try compiling the app manually?
