nevermind. I'll just keep increasing the version number based on the commit number should they push more updates.

I doubt there will be further update but please go ahead and do so if necessary -- I thought I had used git hash as version...

I am also thinking of versioning this by the date of the commits in their github repo, since there are no actual versioning of this. not sure how good of an idea this is but may be convenient for many aur helpers.

I mean if you add me as a co-maintainer, I can just push fixes. Just press "Manage Co-Maintainers" on "Package Actions" on the right and add my username.

I am not sure how to do the transfer/accept submission tho, definitely go ahead and submit one if you can. I shift my focus away recently and sorry for this late reply.

in that case, this PKGBUILD puts it in /usr/lib/udev.d/rules/ rather than /usr/lib/udev/rules.d/, you put the .d on the wrong folder, so I guess change that.

(i hadn't read that part of the wiki, my apologies, i just put it in etc and it started working, so..)

edit: also, those spaces still don't belong there, you can have a look at the examples on the same wiki page you linked or hundreds of other files located in /lib/udev/rules.d/. if keeping spaces ends up causing problems down the line you'll need to remove them anyways because they should not be there.

  1. The command is basically copied from github README which comes with the space, and will follow up the missing quote shortly.
  2. The https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/udev said "The udev rules shipped with various packages are found in /usr/lib/udev/rules.d/", I actually don't exactly know how this part works on Archlinux
