Looks like they've dropped linux support for 5.x, and 4.0 seems to be dead(development wise) since it's trying to connect to a domain with an expired ssl cert:

WARNING: Certificate verification failed

Issuer Name: /O=Digital Signature Trust Co./CN=DST Root CA X3 Subject Name: /O=Digital Signature Trust Co./CN=DST Root CA X3

The certificate yielded the error: certificate has expired

The error occurred in the certificate chain at position 3

@Gonzo2028: that doesn't sound like a packaging issue, so I can't help you with that. Report this to the GFXBench guys?

For me it stops in the loading-screen, i am not seeing any graphics. Ideas? Nvidia GTX1080, AMD Ryzen 3950X here.

@Ashark: I just realised their script copies the .desktop file to ~/.local/share/applications/; if that's the location you looked at, that file is completely wrong.

I'll update the package to delete that, and install the desktop file (and icon) to the standard locations (they were left in /opt/gfxbench/ until now)

I am not sure what exactly does this instruction in PKGBUILD:

sed -i "s#${pkgdir}##" "${pkgdir}"/opt/"${pkgname}"/gfxbench_gl.desktop

But I got incorrect path to executable in .desktop file:

/home/my_user_name/.cache/yay/gfxbench/pkg/gfxbench/opt/gfxbench/gfxbench_gl

Availability GFXBench 5 is currently under development and available for licensing within our Benchmark Development Program. (2015)

Ah, OK. I apologise for misinterpreting what happened. And yes, that's exactly what I'm saying. Two new versions/revisions of the code without bumping the version. There are still issues with RX 480 (after the second revision with the same version number) at the moment. I hope that they get back to me this week. That would be the third change though.
